Fitness test is a concrete way of getting information about Your
physical condition. The feedback from the test will give You good
guidelines for exercising and it also helps You to get motivated.
Based on the test results is possible to plan You a very personal and
targeted exercise program. Follow-up test tells You how You have
succeeded with Your training and goals.
There are various tests available, and they can be performed individually or in groups. Based on Your needs and goals we decide what tests are most important for You. The test should always be a positive and encouraging experince! The test will always be performed by a physical therapy professional, and it can be a part of bigger intervention or just a way to give information for the person tested. We emphasise on the feedback of the test. Itīs important that the results are given in an understandable and usefull way. Individual needs are always considered! Fitness test can include for example: - Health and physical activity questionaries - testing of aerobic condition ( ERGOMETER-, STEP-, UKK walking and COOPER tests ) - muscle tests - mobility testing - weight ( BMI ) , body 06.06.2004 |
